Is your Architect registered?

An architect needs to be registered in the State or Territory where they carry out work.

The updated list of registered architects under the new legislation will be available in the week commencing 18 March 2024.

For a firm to use one of the restricted terms, at least one nominated architect registered in Tasmania is required to apply for the firm to be registered in the Class – Architectural Firm and insure that the firm complies with the Code of Practice and has sufficient Professional Indemnity Insurance.

To assist consumers identify Tasmanian Registered architects & approved firms the Board has issued them with a logo which includes the registered architects registration number(s).
